1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the permitted and prohibited uses of AlgoDelta Cloud services. This policy is designed to protect our infrastructure, our customers, and the broader internet community. By using our Service, you agree to comply with this AUP.
2. Prohibited Activities
You may NOT use AlgoDelta Cloud services for any of the following:
2.1 Illegal Activities
- Any activity that violates applicable Indian law or international law
- Hosting, distributing, or facilitating content related to child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — zero tolerance
- Fraud, identity theft, or phishing operations
- Hosting or distributing pirated software, media, or intellectual property
- Operating unauthorized gambling or betting platforms
2.2 Network Abuse
- Conducting or facilitating Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks
- Port scanning, network probing, or vulnerability scanning of third-party networks without authorization
- Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam)
- Operating open mail relays or open proxies
- IP address spoofing or packet manipulation
- DNS amplification attacks or any form of reflection attack
2.3 Resource Abuse
- Cryptocurrency mining without prior written approval from the Company
- Running processes that consume excessive resources and affect other users
- Using the Service as a file storage/sharing platform beyond server operational needs
- Reselling server resources without written authorization
2.4 Harmful Content
- Hosting or distributing malware, ransomware, viruses, or trojan software
- Operating command-and-control (C2) infrastructure for botnets
- Hosting phishing websites or credential harvesting pages
- Distributing content that promotes violence, terrorism, or hate speech
3. Permitted Uses
Our servers are intended for legitimate use cases including but not limited to:
- Web application hosting and development
- API backends and microservices
- Database servers
- Development, staging, and testing environments
- VPN servers for personal or organizational use
- Proxy servers for legitimate business purposes
- Automation and scripting platforms
- Data processing and analytics
4. API Usage Guidelines
- API keys must be kept confidential and not shared publicly (e.g., in GitHub repositories).
- Respect API rate limits. Excessive calls may result in temporary throttling.
- Do not attempt to bypass security measures or exploit API vulnerabilities.
- Report any discovered vulnerabilities responsibly to support@algodelta.in.
5. Monitoring & Enforcement
- We monitor network traffic and API usage patterns for policy violations.
- We do NOT monitor or access the content of your servers unless required by law or to investigate a specific complaint.
- We may act on complaints from third parties regarding abuse originating from our network.
6. Consequences of Violation
Violations of this AUP may result in, at our sole discretion:
- Warning: First-time minor violations may receive a warning with a request to remediate.
- Suspension: Repeated or moderate violations may result in temporary server suspension.
- Termination: Severe violations will result in immediate account termination without refund.
- Legal Action: We may report illegal activities to appropriate law enforcement authorities.
7. Reporting Abuse
To report abuse originating from our network, please email support@algodelta.in with the subject "Abuse Report" and include relevant evidence (IP addresses, timestamps, logs).
